Actress Nimrat Kaur gets emotional after seeing Mural of the late Irrfan Khan in the internationally acclaimed film “The Lunchbox”.
Irfan Khan breathed his last on April 29 and in his memory, a mural has been erected on the wall of an old house in the Varoda Road neighborhood of Bandra. Artists Vikas Bansal and Ranjit Dahiya have produced murals.
Interestingly, the artwork is close to the house where Irrfan’s character Sajan Fernandes featured in the film “The Locketbox”.

Released in 2013, “The Lunchbox” was a box office success. At numerous awards, director Ritesh Batra won the prestigious Viewer’s Choice Award – also known as the Grand Rail d’Or – at the 66th Cannes Film Festival’s International Critics’ Week.
